Homeless veterans have served in World War II, Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam War, Grenada, Panama, Lebanon, Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the military’s anti-drug cultivation efforts in South America.
Another way to support homeless US Veterans is to “Adopt a Vet” by making a donation that goes directly toward purchasing much needed supplies. This would include bedding, towels, soap, toiletries, etc.
For less than the average person spends on their monthly cable bill, you can “Adopt A Vet” by enrolling in our easy monthly payment plan of your choice (tax deductible of course). Donations will be processed on the 10th day of each month.
The name of each adoptive donor will be included on a Wall of Thanks in the Building. It is important for the veterans to see how many people have given in support of them. This is a critical step in their progress toward self-sufficiency, and to feeling the respect that they deserve.
Because everyone deserves a place to rest their head.
